Welcome to Get It Off Your Chest Therapy - I'm Amanda Cunliffe, a registered Psychotherapist/Counsellor (MBACP) for individuals and couples and a certified/registered Hypnotherapist (GHR Afill).

I started Get It Off Your Chest Therapy in 2020 to help people literally “get things off their chest”, (because that always makes you feel better).

I understand through first-hand experience that choosing a therapist can be overwhelming - there's so many phrases and job titles that aren't used in your average day-to-day conversation! 

If you are thinking about seeking therapy (either for yourself or you and someone else as a couple) perhaps something has shifted in your thoughts, feelings, or behaviour that is uncomfortable for you, or maybe you have decided to explore a long-standing problem or issue. I can help you with this as I'm not here to pass judgement or advise, instead I'm here to help you navigate the highs and lows that life throws at us.

I help my clients (individuals and couples) achieve their therapeutic goals either by discussing their current or past issues through counselling/psychotherapy or some clients opt to have hypnotherapy with me (some have both!). 


I offer people empathy, confidentiality, safety and opportunity to explore their feelings in a therapeutic relationship at the client's pace. I combine different types of therapy and tailor the methods I use to suit each individual client (I can explain this further if you want to have a quick free chat over the phone and discuss any questions you might have, or even point you in the direction of someone more suitable).

Initial enquiries are available over the phone or online via Zoom. All therapy is available in-person or online.
